We finished planting all our plots today. Just got one heck of a rain on them. Hoping to be back in a couple weeks to do some bowhunting. I think our primitive season is open at home. Will try my luck if it cools off again. Glad to be back with y'all. Good luck!!!

I haven't even been hunting yet. My kids have some type of activity every dang day it seems. I'll get out there eventually, just not as motivated this year.

I’ve been hunting a lot, but I’ve mainly been after a big buck on some land that doesn’t have a high deer density (not gonna shoot a doe there). I’ve only seen the big buck once, but he was out of range. I’ve let lots of does walk there and my trigger finger has been getting itchy...I was able to sneak away and hunt yesterday afternoon and this morning at our farm and I had a young doe come in on a string this morning. Quartering away at 14 yards; she went 30 yards after the shot thumbup

Congrats on the doe. Weather is finally getting right down here and have a couple decent bucks on camera. But my daughter done took over the stand and said she's gonna kill them. Lol. Told her she has to leave one for her brother and she said he better not snooze because he will lose.

Congrats AU! I’ve seen a bunch of deer just not what I’ve been looking for. My trigger finger is starting to itch as well. I may have to sling one at a doe here soon...

Congrats AU, got a question, do you ever have a problem with that peep turning on you when you draw back? I have the same peep and that issue with mine from time to time. Planning on having Shaw build me a string next year.

I battled that issue for a while, but a true professional (like Sonny) can fix that easily for you!! For a long time, my string loop would move/swivel and it would allow the peep to get twisted/turned like you’re talking about...Since Sonny replaced my string, I haven’t had a single issue with it. My bow shot like a new one again after Sonny hooked me up

congrats AU, saw a few deer this weekend, could have killed a doe but they came out right after 6 before the bama game and I wasn't messing with one by that point. may just have to wait until rifle season to kill a deer

It’s been a grind so far for me guys. Things seems to be getting better. I passed a pretty good 3.5 yr old 8 yesterday. I hope things are about to change for me!

Back in the saddle this morning. Saw a pretty good one right off the bat. Couldn’t make up my mind so I let him pass. About 20 mins later I passed another buck. Things are looking better, I just need the right one to step out.
