A Ranger finder could be handy, especially when hunting in the national parks.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

There's no way to know that a range finder mounted to a scope is ranging the target you are viewing through the scope, not really sure what you are asking for? Rangefinder that I could attach to gun or that you can see while looking through scope that does not project a beam forward while shooting. Legal for deer daylight only.

You need to research “point blank range”. Most “deer cartridges “ can be sighted in a little high at 100 and be + or - 3” out to close to 300 yards. There is no need for a range finder inside of 300. This. Drop of a 168 gr 308 zeroed at 200 yards is about 8-9 inches. You can hold on top of the back and still hit the vitals. Many cartridges will shoot flatter.

Deer I killed this year was 310. Missed and figured I better range lol

Look up Burris Elliminator if you just gotta have something like that. Sometimes you can find them used Like the Nikon version, but they stop making it. I have a good scope and separate Nikon rangefinder just wanted to add a rangefinder to view through existing scope to save a few $, but could go this route.

Go back and read my first post in this thread. What cartridge are you shooting?
