Not 100% detached, there was skin still attached. Collar bone, ball and socket are now stainless steel. All the shoulder muscles are gone. All the anchor muscles that should be attached to my spine are gone. Shoulder blade is in 3 pieces wasn’t any way to repair it. Dayum... Still some kind of HIIT type exercise and a change in diet should do the trick according to that article I posted. If I were in you shoes I would try that before I jumped off the ledge and went on meds for the rest of your life. That's my advice and I assume that's why you started this thread...

Got the T-shirt and bumper sticker. I have low T. 6'1" 260. Tried it all
1st I tried the cream. What a mess and honestly did not provide much improvement for me. If I remember it wasn't cheap either. To avoid the having to go to the doctors' office for injections, I tried the testosterone pellets. a small capsule that gets implanted in your butt check and last 3-6 months. It worked but it took a while to ramp up and felt weak the last 2 weeks. Next, did the shots every two weeks. I felt like I was crashing hard the last 3-4 day of the 2nd week. I talked to my doctor and we agreed to self administer injections weekly that helped.
Fast forward a year or so. My next challenge was insane high blood pressure. Got put on blood pressure meds. I finally had enough and stopped taking the T and my blood pressure dropped. Several factors to improve your T. My ranking order; prayer, reduce stress, diet, sleep, exercise (heavy weights) and sex. Once I dropped to 245 I felt much better.

I did all that in a 140+mph crash. I’ve broken every bone in my body except my nose and jaw many of them repeatedly, no cartilage in either knee just bone to bone. I’ve tried hard to use up everything the good Lord gave me and just never expected to live this long. Motorcycles, football, Jumping outta planes, race cars and worked like a rented mule all my life.
The one thing I hear everyone talk about with low t is sex drive, I honestly don’t have any issues with that and I think my wife would vouch for me. Really the only thing I notice is just don’t have any energy and not very motivated to get anything done today that I can put off till next month. I’ve never been one to lay around, I’ve always had to be busy doing something. I’ve probably watched more tv in the last 6 months than the previous 48 years.

How is your stress level? No BS answers. How well do you manage stress? Is your stress level going up? Stress mgt is huge in what you described above.

Depression not an issue at all, I couldn’t imagine life any better
Stress is a constant part of my life with a a business that’s growing faster than anyone would ever believe or imagine but I have the best of the best people around me so it’s nothing that I have to carry alone. My life has been high speed low drag since the day I was born so none of its new to me.
Reality is if I lost another 100 or so pounds would probably help more than anything just kinda can’t help but to wonder if something to pick the testosterone up may help with that

Hoggin, I started eating better and lost a bunch of weight -- around 40 pounds. I cut out the sugar, completely quit eating fried food and increased grilled meats and fish, salad, veggies and fruit. It has been tough but worth it.
If I could 100 percent cut out bread, I would probably lose a lot more weight.
I don't know specifically how it affected my "T" but I was concerned that it was low prior to losing weight. My doc said that it was within specs, but I had felt like I had much lower energy and drive.
After losing weight, I have WAY more energy, I feel a hell of a lot better and my wife has made comments about how I pester her a lot more.
The main upside has been just feeling better overall.
I would encourage you to raise your T naturally before you get on some type of supplement or medicine.

Ashwagandha, a natural herbal supplement that helps to increase testosterone. Take that, along with weight loss and regular exercise. I've had low T for the past 3 or 4 years. I started a diet routine in August and I've lost 40#, plus taking Ashwagandha and trying to get more exercise. My most recent lab work showed normal testosterone levels.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.
