I have decided to get a suppressor to hunt with since I have access to a spot where there is some housing in the area. I have tried doing some research not only on the internet, but from this site also, but my knowledge is still very limited. I know that I want to go with the trust, and after talking with my local gun shop, I know I have to get passport photo, and go get fingerprinted. I have heard some of y'all talk about stores with a kiosk, does kiosk do all this for you, or do you still have to go do that yourself? The gun shop also recommended a Yankee hill suppressor, would this be a good one to go with? I aslo will be purchasing a new rifle that is already threaded for the suppressor, but I also have at least one other gun that I would like to be able to use , but it is not threaded. Is there a good gunsmith in Alabama that could do this, cause I know there isn't one in my area (Gadsden) that I would trust to do it. Alot of rambling questions, but maybe it makes since. Thanks

A mans got to know his limitations.

Yes, to the first question. If you go to a store that has the kiosk, you can do every bit of it at the store and you do t have to do anything else on your own.
I don’t know anything about that suppressor. You might go to different places and check out several different models. Unless you are going to use it on a pistol, there is not any reason to get the hybrid. For a rifle only, I would look at some other models.
There are a lot of places where you can get your barrel threaded.

Not to Hijack, but do you have to have a separate trust for each suppressor? Or am I covered with the one? You don’t have to, but you can. I would say to use one

Thanks How far do you plan to shoot. A supressor reduces noise but even with a 300 black out and suppressed ammo it is still a noise and you only get about 100 yds of accuracy I have a yankee hill that I like but if my shots were going to be under 100yds I would go get raven cross bow

The best place I have found for suppressors is Nichols outfitters in Pelham. They have a large selection and have a kiosk. ^^This

Yankee Hill would NOT be in my first 10 choices of suppressors. There are several manufacturers that build better products. I suspect the dealer that recommended that suppressor has a higher profit margin on those than any other. Here's a place that has all the info that you'd ever need to know about suppressors.... http://www.silencertalk.com/forum/index.php
Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

Do yourself a favor and drive down to Nichols Outfitters.
