I grew up with one... once all that cast iron got warm it would heat all night on just a little wood. I sure miss standing around that old heater, would give anything now to have kept it. I just bought a log splitter and going to dabble in selling a few truck loads just so I don't have to pile up and burn whole trees I have cut to build new fence lines.
