Long Story short.... yesterday windows rolling down by themselves and door locks moving by themselves (@12 times). Shut off at work and was hammer dead after work. NO dome light or electricity to ANYTHING including horn. I tried to boost and nothing. I took off battery cables and got life with a boost. Bought new battery and truck ran perfect for a couple of trips today. Now its dead again. Thinking its some sort of MAIN power. 07 GMC 1500

Is the alternator working? Check on battery with a meter and see how many volts with it running. If battery got low all kind of screwy things could happen. But since new battery died something is draining it or alternator isn't charging it. First step is to figure out which direction to look.

Jokes aside, it does seem like GM's have significantly more electrical gremlins than most. Start trying to take notice from now on, when you see a truck/suv going down the road with a headlight or marker light out..........8/10 will be Chevy/GMC. I don't get it...

The headlights on my 08 will go out randomly. My front passenger window don't work. The locks have a mind of their own. I never make the mistake of leaving my keys in the truck, it'll lock itself.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

I've been noticing this for years...…...and they asking 60K for a dam truck that the lights don't work.

Got an 07 Chevy that the heater/ac fan only works on high, Only part of the lights work when on "auto"-have to turn them "on" to get them all to come on. Stob, fan problem is probably related to the blower motor resistor, located in the duct work near passenger floor board. My 01 2500 has been replaced a couple of times Do the Google thing. Can't help with the other.
