Anyone have any knowledge

Have it all day every day. Some days are better then some. I get 3 nerve blocks a year and that helps. If I have bad pain between the shots I get dry needling done and it helps. Hate to hear anyone has back problems!

your life will never be the same again welcome to the club and find a good chiropractor. i hurt my L5 my left leg hurts every day it hurts to sit hurts to stand and hurts to do either one for too long only time it doesnt hurt is when im asleep. learn to low crawl to the bathroom a few times a year when you cant put weight on your legs because your back goes out periodically too. im not even 40 ill probably be bedridden by the time im 60 at this pace if i aint dead. getting old aint fun.

Not to bad as long as am sitting hurts getting up I have a appointment with DR Jeff Wade Monday at Grandview Hospital

Try anything and everything before going through with spinal fusion.That's the most important thing you need to know.Good luck...

Find a good neurosurgeon and let him fix it. I suffered for years. I went through epidurals and nerve blocks. Nothing helped. Dr. Voss in dothan al. Saved my life. Wish i would've done it 10 years earlier.

Herniated L3/L4, L4/L5 and ruptured L5/S1 Dec 23rd 2004. Hurts everyday. Some days worse than others. Some days I don't want to get out of bed, some days I feel like I could play football again. What gets it the worst is standing in one place for long periods. Walking helps it the most. Never been to a Chiropractor, always been scared it would mess me up worse.

I've been going to a chiropractor once a month and doing very well, what scares me is someone putting nuts, bolts and screws in my spine. No thanks,,,,,,,

My dad has had 4 back surgeries in 30 years. His last one was was a fusion with 2 rods and 13 screws done by a Neuro surgeon at St. Vincent's in Birmingham. I can't remember the Drs last name. Dad was a career firefighter for 28 years and is still a volunteer firefighter/emt today. His back has taken a beating and was wore out, the L4/L5 and L5/S1 disc was completely gone, bone on bone. Anyways dad said it's the best thing has had done, still hurts some daily but no more dibilitating pain like he had before. He gets around and feels better now @ almost 62 yrs old than he did @ 45.

Yep L1-L4/S1. I’ve been dealing with it for about 6 years now chiropractic is honestly about the best thing I’ve found. I’m tryin got avoid surgery and will hold off as long as I can

I've been dealing with a herniated L5 for 19 yrs. I refuse to have any surgery unless it ruptures. Chiropractic treatment has helped me tremendously. It doesn't work for everybody but I'd highly recommend trying that for a bit before getting cut. Just like mentioned above, I at least feel it every day but the flare ups are bad with the pain in the legs and in the general area of the disc. Early am is the worst part of the day for me, and I have been to the point to where I had to crawl to the bathroom.

Great doc...he fixed a friend's screwed up back...n I have seen him for mine.
