For those having issues, are you using iPhones or Android? My daughter and her mother have constant issues while I rarely ever have one. They have iPhones and I have Android. I've seen so many problems with iPhones while every Galaxy phone I've had has operated flawlessly. I've tried to get my daughter to get rid of that garbage iPhone (3rd one she's had) but it seems the marketing has brainwashed her into glossing right over all the problems.

I have an android phone. I would not have an iPhone if you paid me to use it. I'm not having any phone issues it's just sucky service.

Heck, we tried to talk to customer service over the phone, to get a hot spot device at the new house...that was a joke. Both people told us two totally different stories. Guess we will have to go in a store to be lied to and manipulated a third time.

The Verizon stores are totally intolerable. They obviously have a policy that says no customer can spend less than three hours in there. Worse than buying a damn vehicle

I've emailed the VP of Sales and Service. We'll see if there's a response. I fully believe they are not maintaining 4G equipment as they move to 5G service in urban areas.

The Verizon stores are totally intolerable. They obviously have a policy that says no customer can spend less than three hours in there. Try the one's that aren't actually owned by Verizon, like the one in Selma. Not only are they slow, but they charge to deal with a Verizon product, even if you bought it there. My wife drives to Prattville for any cell phone issue. She says that one is the best, not good, just the best of all in this area.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I dropped Verizon three weeks ago for poor service that was only getting worse. I went from paying over $190 to less than $100 by swapping to Straight Talk. Now I pay less than $100 a month and couldn’t be happier. Got better service than I’ve had for years with Verizon.

I had similar issues in the past with Verizon. I had to stand on a hill in the backyard to talk to anyone. Bought a signal booster that works through your home internet provider and that solved the problem. Our Verizon coverage has gotten better here and no longer need it. If anyone is interested, I’ll sell it for way below what it costs new. kbush you have first dibs. Gotta have some type of internet service separate from your mobile though.

Verizon is hands down the worst company and cell service. Your signals are going to crap so they can force a 5g upgrade on you to buy a new phone. It will keep getting worse.
Had them for 6 months it was the worst 6 months I ever endured since owning a cell phone. Lies, messed up bills, extra fees, rude employees, service issues it was horrible. We swapped to MetroPCS a year ago been fantastic. Reception in my house again and while traveling. Went from 280 a month for 4 phones to 120.
Go prepaid no contract so they have to take care of you or you bail. I had the exact opposite experience. I had Tmobile for 12 years and had service as long as I was near major highways but never had it on any hunting club I was a member of. When I moved to Savannah I had no service in several areas and finally switched to Verizon. I don't have any of the service issues some have complained about but my daughter has but she has an iPhone and everyone I know with iPhones have issues. I have 4 phones on unlimited plan and I pay $160 a month but I buy my own phones instead of paying Verizon for them. I have service everywhere I go but wil hit a dead spot when i'm traveling every so often. I do believe the 5g thing is playing a big part in some of the issues because they will not activate any phone now that can use the old 3g technology. For instance, you can't activate a Samsung Galaxy 5 or Iphone 5 now on the verizon network. I'm hoping I don't have the issues I've heard from several people when I move to TN because I haven't found another carrier that has nearly the coverage area Verizon does.

Verizon is awful. Signal has been pathetic where I live and has steadily declined over the past year. Over 50% of my calls get dropped. Customer support is just as bad. I would switch in a heartbeat if there was a better alternative.

I haven't noticed any difference in it, but I don't travel as much as a lot of folks. We were driving home on I65 south of Montgomery back in March and I streamed an Auburn basketball game for over 2 hours and only dropped it a couple of times. I was surprised it worked that well,.as that is a lot of isolated land through there.
I talked on the Bluetooth all the way across Chilton county yesterday and dropped the call once in the Isabella area, but immediately got it back. Cell service has improved immensely since I had a Southern Linc phone about 20 years ago. Charter is now offering a plan that works off the VZ towers and would save me some money. I wonder if the service would be the same? Anyone got it?

My theory is that they are not supporting 4G as they swap over to 5G. Problem is that the rural areas are the last to upgrade. What they fail to recognize, or don't care to recognize, is that it becomes a safety issue in rural areas.

They'll have to support 4G for several years. They have lofty plans to have their 5G service rolled out to 30 cities by the end of this year, but they're struggling to get it done. Even in the few cities they've rolled it out in so far, the 5G coverage is very spotty within each individual city.
