For all you young men that are newlyweds or about to be, here is some advice. There will come a time when your wife will cook something that just flat out doesn’t taste good. IF by some chance, she even admits that it doesn’t taste good, DO NOT make the comment that you wish the dog/cat would come into the room so you can lick it’s butt to get the bad taste out of your mouth. She will not think its as funny as you do. Trust me on this.
If voting made any difference, they wouldn’t let us do it.-Mark Twain

No doubt. Don't even go anywhere close to that.

I wouldn't even say that about a cats azz, and I've said some pretty dangerous stuff.
Wife was in one of those i'm starting a fight and I don't care about what days. I just walked outside. I came back about ten minutes later and she was in the shower. I knocked on the shower door...she angrily asked what I wanted. I told I had been thinking about adopting a three year old. LOL She opened the door and YELLED what the hell for?????
I told her so that when she acted like a three year old she would have someone to play with.........
sofa wasn't THAT bad.....
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

When we were first married my wife decided she would make chili. The recipe called for two cloves of crushed garlic. She put in two baseball sized bulbs of garlic. I ate it with a smile and you could smell me coming from a block away for two weeks.

Spaghetti made with ketchup?
Is that not how you do it?

My wife was a great cook when we got married, but she had never been shown how to fry bone-in chicken. She gave it a whirl the first week home from the honeymoon. It was the most beautifully golden, crisp skinned chicken you've ever laid eyes on... and completely raw in the middle.
I didn't say a word, just ate around the edges and prayed for protection. When she realized it she cried and cried... and went to my grandma for lessons. Score that as a WIN!

it is RARE nowadays to meet/date a woman who can cook ... it truly seems to be a lost art ... realizing more & more just how damn spoiled i was as a kid, growing up, with women who knew their chit in the kitchen ... i'm eating the best i've ever eaten in my life since my divorce 4 years ago -- cause i'm making my meals now ... prior to that, those nearly 20 years were rough as a cob -- i had a hard time keeping my mouth shut about food that a dog would barf on ... the absolute BEST meals i ever ate during my marriage would be when we'd go to my hometown for Thanksgiving!!! LOL

I love some good fried chicken and my wife can’t cook it right to save her life.

My wife, bless her heart, tries to cook, but she missed that bus. She cooks what she calls "chopped steak"; it's hamburger patties in beef broth that she bakes until they are like chewing shoe leather. And to make matters worse, she cooks mashed potatoes as a side...her recipe starts and ends with using instant mashed potatoes. After being married 20 years, and me making recommendations on how she could make it better, I've learned to shut up and smile at her as I'm choking down a piece of leather with tasteless mashed potatoes. And that's one of her better meals. Her feelings got hurt once when she asked the girls if they would rather her cook or me and the girls answered that they like my cooking better.
