The way i look at hunting is that if its something i like to do and i spend a lot of time doing it then its worth the investment. what is the point of putting all your money towards retirement and bs that doesnt have anything to do with having fun. Its not like we take the money with us when we die.

Just think about how much time you’d have to bowhunt if you retire at 55 because you saved while you were younger...

Makes a lot of sense to put all your money into nothing fun so you can sit in a shooting house and die of a heart attack at 62.

I know 55 year olds that could work circles around me, and I’m in dang good shape. I’m not saying don’t have fun while you’re young, but working until I’m 75 doesn’t sound like something I want to do.

And not one single person said anything about working till they are 75. The vast majority of people around 60 cannot do what they did when they were in their 20s and 30s health-wise.
