You cant go wrong with vortex for quality or warranty service they are strait up no hoops to jump thru on the rare instance you may need service. I cant say the same thing about Nikon. Vortex is now my go to company after using Nikon, Leupold, Bushnell, a few cheap tascos somewhere in the mix ive been happier with Vortex over any of them.

Their warranty and customer service is great. I’ve shot Zeiss, Leupold, Nikon, and Bushnell over the years and I think the Vortex is the best quality for the price you pay.
