After years of extensive trial and error, I’ve finally found the perfect medicine for whitetails.

It’s fast, flat, slippery, with plenty of energy out to 500 and should leave two holes, all with minimal recoil.

Call in the dogs and piss on the fire, the search is over.

And here it is along side the “Proven Aldeer Killer” 80gr Barnes 243

Do tell why this isn’t the perfect whitetail round...

Nothing wrong with that round. One of my favorite bullets for deer. Especially at that diameter

I'm guessing it's a 6CM.

Y. I think you are right. Speed is a little to high for the 6xc Norma.

I hope y'all got those pea shooters dialed in... rifle season is upon us. Can't wait to see all that bloodshot deer meat produced by these varmint rifles.

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

You speak with forked tongue. First it’s the varmint guns can’t kill deer. Now you are admitting they’ll not only kill deer but make a mess of them in the process🤔

Pick a side...and stick to your (elephant) guns!

I’m notorious for fretting over trivial details when it comes to killing deer but I can honestly say “bloodshot” meat has never even made it to the bottom of the list.

I started shooting the perfect whitetail round in 1994. They call it the 6mm Remington.

Then you can certainly appreciate this cartridge, it’s simply an improved version of the 6mm rem in a properly twisted tube.

Nope- 95gr, it drops 8.7” less at 500 than the 127gr 6.5CM AND bucks the wind better.

The .308 was introduced in 1952,the T65(7x62x51) saw daylight in 1954. If only someone would legitimize the .263 express.

Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

Haha can't argue. But I looked into buying a 6mm Creedmoor and then realized it's best realized with heavy 105 plus bullets. At the time no one made a hunting bullet in 105gr plus. If I am looking to kill a deer at 400 yards, I am probably not gonna be toting a .243 caliber. Good round, just not groundbreaking. Doesn't do anything the 243 and 6mm can't in proper twist barrels.

So the 95gr factory load above doesn’t impress you?

Agree on 243 and 6mm comment except nobody makes fast twist factory guns or factory loaded heavies for them or the CM wouldn’t exist. Same goes for the 260.
