I’m looking for a specific youth 243. I’ve been able to borrow my buddies New England Firearms youth model for my son to hunt with and he loves it but I can’t find it anywhere. The only brand near this design is the Rossi single shot. If you have anything North of Birmingham please let me know, thanks!!

Check out the CVA Hunter, I have a compact one in 243 and it shoots surprisingly well. It’s really a nice gun for what it is. Quality is much better than a Rossi or NEF and cost is similar.

you wont regret getting the cva i have it in 243 and 308 both awesome shooters i would recommend not using the scope that comes with it though

It ain't a 243 but I have a NEF 25-06 with a mid weight barrel and a Swift 4x12x50 scope and a 223 barrel to go on it also. The 25-06 doesn't have much kick at all and he can shoot the 223 all summer. Have some 25-06 ammo and brass to go with it. Let me know if you're interested.

I have a NEF handi rifle in .243 that I bought for my son over 15 years ago. He killed a 3 point and has never hunted since. It's a neat little rifle.
