Fine deer there!
What caliber is that? Preciate it fellas It’s a .308 howa. Just popped him in the neck, he wasn’t but about 100yds. Idk bout the rest of y'all but a hundred yard neck shot is pretty damn impressive! Nice deer man!

Congrats on a heck of a buck. Just curious, why would you take that shot? The deer is just loafing around so why not wait until you get a better shot at him? What would be a better shot? Every deer I’ve ever neck shot did exactly like this one did. I’ll take that shot all day long as well. Never had an issue with it as the bullet passes through the neck into the vitals.
