Given the major administrative changes at SI in the last year, I'm honestly shocked they held up printing to get this cover done. SI usually prints on Monday and always has been strongest, arguably, with imagery after big events like this one. They had to get the photo, design it and print late Monday night. Despite a digital world it's still a tangible item many will want.
Superb photo and design. Nicely done.
I found a notebook of old SI issues from 30ish years ago including the Pete Rose issue detailing his gambling.

Man, the Tigahs are really coming out of the wood works now. Gonna be all kinds of LSU T shirts that get dusted off now.  I’ve noticed now that everybody has some Cajun friends and family so they are on the band wagon train too. Even though Louisiana has more directional schools than any other state it seems like.

I’ve noticed now that everybody has some Cajun friends and family so they are on the band wagon train too. Even though Louisiana has more directional schools than any other state it seems like. I myself prefer to root for the South Central Louisiana State University Mud Dogs

The thing is. Alabama fans talk crap. But they all know it’s over. Too many programs have passed Bama. It isn’t the same. Things change. Instead of talking trash maybe they should recognize that the dynasty is over. Bama will not win another NC for a long time. Florida, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Texas A&M, are all finally getting their sh*t together. If Saban doesn’t win it next season he will be gone. The man looked totally sick Monday night. He knows what’s coming. Florida is on the hunt. I predict Florida and Auburn in the SEC Championship. Bama will win 10 maybe 11. Burbank must have a new screen name.

I'll bet Saban wins another title before LSU, Auburn, Florida, Georgia or Texas A&M wins one. Maybe two more.
LSU lost about five or six underclassmen today, at least, including Jefferson, their two inside LBs, Delphit, I think two OLs and maybe more.

All these poo poo faces around here from Bama fans makes me feel about as great as knowing LSU just put together the greatest college football team ever!!!! I love it.
