My 2002 with 4.0 was a piece of crap..i had constannt problems out of it..could just be mine tho.

I had the Mazda version with a ford motor in it. It only made to 400k miles before it laid down.
My wife told me the other day about the guy who was the janitor back when we were in high school. He’s still driving the Ford Ranger he had when we were in school. I graduated in 2002.

My first truck at 16 was a ‘97 Mazda (Ford)with 2.3L motor. I never had any problems with mine. Put 200k on it before I sold it.
