What are some less thought of items I may need/will need for a mid-April NW Nebraska turkey hunt?
I am not going to share my list considering how long it already is, I am looking for ideas regarding the not-so ordinary items I may need based on the experiences of others. Don't leave out the non-hunting items either.
GO NOLES!!

Warm clothes, something to break the wind, extra tags (you can print tons of them) A good seat, good binos. Ziplock bags are a great idea, I’ve gotten to where I dress a lot of birds in the field, especially on long hikes out with multiple birds.

read the Ne game and fish rules carefully, they have some weird(to me) rules on cleaning/storing birds.
take clothes for every temp, I hunted in snow/sleet and tee shirts on the same hunt.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

One day 60 degrees...the next a dang blizzard leaving 7 inches of snow...which melted in the NEXT 2 days as it went up to 50 , then 60 degrees. Crazy weather there and the wind can really be strong as well.

the ticks out there are HUGE and plentiful, treat yer clothes and take some more anti tick stuff of yer choice. Like 1/2" across HUGE.

take clothes for every temp, I hunted in snow/sleet and tee shirts on the same hunt. If they catch you with a turkey you have to have either the beard or head attached to the carcass and one leg. We normally keep our birds whole until we get to the freezer and clean them there where we stay. I cleaned one in front of a Game Warden on Main Street right in the middle of town. When I cut its beard and spurs off he said he could give me a ticket. Then he explained the reg to me and that still thought he was pulling my leg. He went and got a reg book and showed it to me. Then he started laughing and said he’d let me slide since he watched me clean it and he was pretty sure it wasn’t trying to conceal its sex. He was a cool old guy and the next year Stony went with me and I got him to make the old feller a call with the Nebraska Game and Fish logo and his name on it.
