Present. Back in same area where the good gobbling bird was on Thursday. Buddy heard him back in here yesterday so we’ll see. Good luck and be safe!

I have one within 300 yds. He’s silent today. Set up with decoys today and going for a long sit. On maybe not.

Had one gobble 3 times between 5:30-6. Got within a couple hundred yards and he hasn’t gobbled in an hour. I’ve got a 9 hour trip back home today so I’m gonna speed hunt my way around the property and see if I can strike one that’s in the right mood.

He gobbled at 535 sounded off pretty regularly for about an hour. Got within 100 yards but Had some competition as I heard no less than 4 diff hens around him. Had 2 fly down and land in sight of me but walked away. I saw him pitch out at 645. I’m sure he got up with one or more of his girls. I’ve made a big loop back trying to get in front of him on a logging road they’ve been using. He has not gobbled since he left the limb.

Good luck. I had planned to try this weekend but decided to get some sleep to see if my arrhythmia issues will go away. No luck. I should have hunted. Probably brought on by all this turkey stress anyway. Now I really want to shoot another one.

Well this bird has made a fool of me the last 2 mornings but it’s been my best season ever. Got to watch my son kill his 1st and 2nd turkey and I got one to boot. Congrats to the killers and we be blessed to see another season.

Had one gobble three times on the limb before 6. I'm 250 yards over on the other ridge and make a move to swing around him, get on the same ridge, and set up. Sounded like he hit the ground early right after 6 headed away from me and went silent. Saw another longbeard crossing the paved road on my way out and pulled off and tried to strike him up. No dice.

Good luck everyone, at least I got to hear some gobbling one last time.
