Another chemical question

I do the labor at our hunting club. The president wants to do the following Saturday: 1-spray some type (he's purchasing) roundup 2-spread field peas 3-lighly disc the peas under. My question is about doing this all the same day like this. Will spray hurt the peas growth? This won't be bush hogged. I'm sure he's going to have some type fertilizer as well but not positive. I'm just doing what I'm told.

If you cut gly into the ground it will kill every sprout that comes into contact with it when the seeds sprout. I know somebody that did this very thing on their garden.
You can disc, plant and then spray and be ok.
Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

I'm just doing what I'm told. That makes no sense. Either spray, and wait 2+ weeks, or skip spraying. Spraying roundup the same day you disc is a complete waste of time and money.
