They were eating my dog up, bought some SWAT from tractor supply and they won't even go near him now.

Haven't noticed many on the north end. Plenty stink bugs. I don't recall ever seeing biting flies growing up. No wood bees either. Always had horse flies.

The flies have been bad here in South Florida for the last two months.

I grew up with my grandparents, noticed most of the old men never got sunburn or bug bit... took me a while to get Tuff, dumb, or smart but wear long sleeves and pants all year... plus I catch poison oak standing down wind, but I got them biting bassturds bad I put a T-shirt on, and they were biting me through it like it wasn’t there. I had to cover myself from head to toe in Deet. I hate it, but that’s all I’ve seen that helps so far.

Get a beach ball or two and paint them...completely cover them in Tanglefoot....hang them around your yard wherever the flies are bad. Now is that a for real working solution?...or a “it’d be funny to get that big dumb redneck to tie beach balls hanging up around his property” kind of thing? BWAHAHAHAHA!!! If it seriously works, I’ll try it.
