a new fish finder, and thought i would get yalls opinions. I'm looking for one to go on my dash, right now i have decent grey screen hummingbirds on front and back. I really like them, but the one on the dash won't pick up depth while i'm running. i won't to keep the front one, but here's my specifications.
1) pick up depth while running
2) mph
3) would like color but not a must
4) doesn't have to have gps
5) decent picture
6) affordable

what would you guys suggest?

If you want MPH you will want to go with the GPS units. I have a Lowrance 520C at my console. The GPS part of it seems to be much more accurate than the Humminbirds. My Humminbird would show me running on the bank when I was 30 yards away. The Lowrance picks up water depths while your running at a normal speed. If you get up over 60, it doesn't register but I think thats probably the norm for most.
