AC870 OP Old Mossy Horns Joined: Nov 2014 Posts: 16,597 Guntersville	I’ve got an 870 12-gauge with the “Shur Shot” stock on it. I keep going back and forth over whether I’m going to keep it on there or put a regular stock on it. Do you guys that have shot them like them? Like I say. I’m back and forth. Gonna post this in the gun forum too. “Killing tomorrow’s trophies today.” On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”

I will say that I tried to shoot it with just a bead sighting it in and it popped my cheekbone pretty good. No way I could shoot it without the optic.

I couldn't get the palm of my hand around the pistol part and my thumb took too much of the recoil. I bought a regular stock for it. All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.

I changed the 26in barrel out for a 21 in one and when I got it changed I noticed I couldn't really get my head down on the beads. I very actually toyed with the idea of going with a ar type stock. if i hadnt taken up hunting i might have became a juvenile delinquent or worst taken up GOLF
