I traded a 2019 GMC 2500hd a couple of months ago, because the local GMC dealership couldn’t keep it running. The last time they kept it 31 days. It had less then 3000 ( not a typo. 3000 ) miles. Pretty truck, and it rode great. It just kept having problems. I traded for a 2020 Ford F-250. So far, it’s been a good truck. I’m not brand loyal, I just want a truck that runs and pulls what I want, when & where I need it to. Diesel or Gas?

take that 2wd loaner and catch some speed when you got something swampy to get through. Give it back to them in what ever condition it may be in. Spoken like a true hillbilly,  . Pro tip, add about 500lbs of concrete blocks in the bed . I had a redneck uncle who raise us well in the hillbilly dept. When we was youngins he had a older Chevrolet Malibu classic with air ride suspension and grip spurs on the rear. We took that thing all over the most bottom of the bottoms, to the highest of high Jackson. 😁 He also had several 2wd rail buggy’s and dune buggies. All of course beat to hell but sure was fun!! My favorite beat up vehicle he had was an old international scout. That thing in my mind at the time was a TANK!! Had more fun in the Malibu though cause you had to catch speed with it, the scout would just go over or through anything just idle speed

Not to rub salt in 257's wound but a new motor can be had overnight.....if the dealership is willing to pay the freight or pick it up themselves.
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

Truck was promised to be ready late Wednesday. Nope
Yesterday get the call. Motor is trashed. New motor.
They’ll have me a crew 4wd loaner today. Nope. It was 2wd that won’t work
They told me tough schit. Motor MAY be in late next week. Ok
I start to have a come apart as no loaner suitable is being offered.
Jimmy smith himself walks up being a smartass to me really bad.
Tells me it ain’t his fault parts can’t be here any faster.
I look at him tell him to go fuck himself. His jaw dropped says no one talks to him that way.
I said I do. I was so mad I thought I was fixing to put his teeth to back of his head
Not a word from them as of 3:22 pm Always sparks when two smart asses meet.

Boy they is a sharp 1993 12valve cummins straight shift for sale on market place..4x4..suckers nice. Hate all the trouble you had 257..my wife dont even let me talk to people anymore...i lose my temper about 30 sec in. I drive an older tundra....id buy about any tundra...the first gen tundras with the 4.7 v8...i dont know that there has ever been a better truck made.
