Fireline, 14 or 20 lb test. Late April, the green lizard kills 'em!!! If it's been warm, a Zoom Horny Toad dragged over the lily pads and through the weeds produces, too.

50 lb power pro braid for all my lures but flipping/frogging and crankbaits. For the frogs I use 80lb power pro and the cranks I use 12lb Suffix seige mono.

Baits I use are dingers, spinnerbaits, 10" worms, and lizards.

7MAG on the 10 inch worms, is it kind of like big fish or nothing?

DR58 if it's warm, I love topwater. Maybe something you can fish slow though if they're not as agressive, like a bomber or devil's horse.

Power Pro braid and Vicious Fluoro. XPS Fluoro from Basspro is some fine line also
Every now and then I have to return to the old Trilene XT in low vis green.

ua hunter, on the big worms, you catch a few small ones, but most of the time on them, it's a keeper. I caught some dang good ones this summer on them.

bammer hammer, yeah, it's great. I live maybe 10 minutes from Mud Creek, and around 20 from Goosepond. laugh

daddyrock, 65lb braid is just as good for frogs. The 80 gives you pretty good control of them, but what I like is you can horse them out of the grass and it cuts right through it on a heavy rod.
