I got a nice G Shock Mudmaster ( model 5476 I think) for Christmas a couple years ago ( so out of warranty). Batteries acted up and I replaced last Friday. $60 bucks due to 2 batteries and 8 screws , but no matter - would be worth it if it corrected problem as I like the watch. Watch repair guy , in several attempts over next few days , could not get analog and digital time to synch. Watched endless youtube videos and never could get the watch set correctly. Anyone had this happen or found a solution? Watch is basically useless to me if I cannot get the Analog hands to set via the auto set or hand set methods.

I have the same watch. Very complicated watch that can do a lot of things. Mine was about 20 minutes fast even when set to Chicago time. I just followed the instructions on page E-16 to get things calibrated.

I am probably going to put it in a drawer and forget it- and get the Luminox I wanted and did not get.

Check out the reviews on Luminox. They aren't that good. I'd go with Victorinox.
