Thanks for sharing this. My son just bought the Silent Adrenaline from Sportsmans Guide right before bow season. Guess we will contact x-stands and see what happens.
Update: After checking the info from the website, it appears that the recall only includes stands manufactured in 2017. My son’s has a 2020 serial number so it is not eligible. I think I will call them to get clarification on how the 2020 model was improved over the 2017 version.

I watch all my lock ons for rust or corrosion on the platform cables. Threw 3 of them away this year. Have thought about making my own or using some kind of chain. Figure better safe than sorry.

I watch all my lock ons for rust or corrosion on the platform cables. Threw 3 of them away this year. Have thought about making my own or using some kind of chain. Figure better safe than sorry. You can order cables for around 15$ per pair. I replace mine about every 5 years
