Just wanted to see what some are using to camo up the windows of their shooting houses. I've always used camo netting or burlap and will probably use the netting again for this new shooting house but wanted to possibly get some different ideas first. This will be going on a 4x6 box that me and a buddy built out of 3/4 conduit welded together and then wrapped it in hunter green tin. For the time being I just sat the box on the ground until hunting season is over and then my plan is to haul the tractor out to the property and mount it to a 16 ft platform that I have.

Rattle can Camo the inside walls down to the bottom of the windows and you don't need no netting or burlap or window shades or curtains

I feel the same way. At my old club I used to carry some thumb tacks to pin that netting up so I did not have to look through it.

Same here. Only put windows where you need them keep it dark in there don’t need the net.

Seems to me as long as they cant silhouette you they dont know youre there. If they can see sky behind your silhouette, youre busted. I have curtains on the back windows. I leave it open in the middle enough to see out, thats it. The shooting house i sit in most has a 12"x60" front window and we dont ever get busted. Before the curtain, we did occasionally get busted, or theyd stare in there at us looking all crazy, never blew and ran off.

If your worried about them silhouetting you then hang one or two soccer balls in there and let the deer get used to seeing that all the time so when you hunt it doesn’t bother them.

I can't stand netting over the windows. I normally blackout the inside of the house and be still.

We use army surplus netting. We put screws into the wall so everyone can configure it how they want.

An awning and regular window screen will keep the glare out and I usually were a full face mask.
