Upon further review I should actually have another several months left in them (hell maybe another year) considering I’m only going into the office every other week now. I just measured and I have 1/4” tread left. The tread depth, new, was 13/32 (these are the SL load range, not LT). So they still have about 60% of their tread depth remaining.
Current mileage on them is 37,250, so 50-55,000 should be pretty doable and still have enough tread on them to sell on FB Marketplace for A little extra cash.

I’m currently in the market for a set myself and would like to go with more of a mud tire. I’m not worried about mileage much since I checked the odometer on my truck just yesterday and in the last 6 months, I’ve driven it about 230 miles total.

Toyos may be high but they last a lot longer than the cheaper tires so it kind of equals out This. I get a new set of grips every other October. I've had dura trac, toyo mt and 2 sets of mastercraft mtx .I won't but the dura tracs again. I got more milage out of the toyo's but I felt like the mastercrafts where the most bang for the buck . One other thing, I make a lot of trips to the landfill dumping construction debris, I had to plug the toyo's a couple times but I have yet to plug a mastercraft. Load range E's FWIW.

Ha. I avg 200 miles a day. That 230 miles in 6 months is my personal truck. My company truck is a different story. I drive between 3,500-4,000 miles a month.

Oh ok. Well that’s different. In have a company truck I get to use as my own. I claim mileage at years end. Personal vs business. It’s still nice to do. And I still drive 52-55k per year in it.

Nitto ridge grapplers 100% i had them on my 2017 silverado 1500 when i traded it in. Had 40k miles on them and still had a ton of tread left. Will be putting them on my new truck once i get around to putting on the leveling kit. by far the best tire ive ever had.

. Well, I won't say "or nothing," but I do like BFG mud tires. My opinion is unless you aren't really using a vehicle for anything other than offroad stay away from mud tires. Easy way to lose it on wet or icy blacktop in my opinion and I've run a bunch of them. These days take a 4 wheeler or sxs if it gets too much for an agressive all terrain. Biggest plus side is you won't tear up any roads.
. Better to grip into a wet, mud road than put a vehicle against a tree because you can't get good traction. I am all for using a SXS or 4-wheeler, but sometimes you have to go down a mud/gumbo road to get to a camp or when working at the camp. I won't argue that they are not the end-all be-all, they are not the best on ice nor in sand, but in more instances they are the best for me.

20" tires are expensive. . Tires are all expensive, but man, those 20" tires, you have to pay to play. You wanted those huge things, no you have to pay the piper. I like my 16's. I have run BFG mud terrain tires on my 98 Z71 since 1997, yep do the math on that! I have close to 500,000 miles on it, and the worst set got 75,000 (I tried a size larger than recommended for the truck (tried a 65 rather than 75), most sets get well over 80,000 miles per set. I have them rotated and balanced every 5,000 when I get an oil change, and I rotate between 35 psi and 50 psi. (I run 35 for 5,000, then 50 for 5,000, this allows for better wear). I have not been a fan of the last set, because BFG took out a lot of the aggressiveness in the KM2 because of the yuppies and other pumpkin spice latte drinking skinny jean wearing pansies worried about road noise. BFG has now brought out a new tire that is a little more aggressive, the KM3, I will try that next. I run mud grips year round, I never know when I will need to go down a gumbo road, so I will put up with some noise. All-terrains will turn to slicks after 1 revolution in the gumbo/clay stuff we have in the central/lower part of the state.
