If you are looking for a compact utv to get anywhere you need to look at what I have! I have a 2011 Polaris Ranger 400 it perfect working order I am wanting 6k.
I work in the commercial transportation industry and I work technically with class A trucks “semi trucks” and I love the mechanical side of my job. The reason I explained that is I buy a lot of ATVs and started getting into UTVs and I learn every model to the owners manual recommendations. I have a 2011 Ranger 400 with tons of extras, 2.5 in lift 27in tires winch, cab mods, the greatest front windshield ever, roof, dual battery system, blue tooth sound system and more. The engine is a 455cc 31bhp stock engine with 390 hrs which these series of engines will get 3k hours on them before needing a top end as long as regulate maintenance has been done. These engines are the same engine as the 500 efi, this model of engine is Polaris most dependable engine they ever built. This is a carbureted engine, so it had 31bhp from factory the 500efi had 36bhp, so like anything I own I want it to be the most efficient as possible. Power upgrades I have done, High flow air filter, MBRP exhaust with silent rider so it is quiet but HIGH Flow! also thunder industries fuel injector mounted in front of the carb to allow adjustment of fuel/air mixture, but it is set and requires no maintenance or adjustment. I added about 6 go so more power than the 500, I also replaced the drive belt to a severe duty Kevlar drive belt. I apologize for the long post but this Ranger deserves it! All joints have been replaced all all fluids have been replaced with Synthetic oils in the time frame stated by OE, valves have been adjusted a month ago. For all that say 455cc isn’t enough you haven’t used this one, all my buddies have 1000 crew rangers and they can’t climb hills or go places this one can, this thing is a billy goat it goes anywhere. I am getting a 4 seater and will suffer with the extended wheelbase. If you are looking for a compact UTV to get you anywhere on earth this will do it every time, 90percent of the time in 2wd. PM with questions.

I really can’t believe this I never am scared to sell something. My uncle own Dothan Powersports and I was sure I could find the model I was hunting, but the Polaris factory shutdown for Covid and they have a extreme backlog and what I was looking for is unavailable till possibly fall. So for now I will have to hold on to it until availability come back around.

Bama buggies in Tuscaloosa had an empty lot last time I passed by. When I was looking in the fall, all the “small” dealers were out of stock with no idea when they’d get more. I called Shoal Outdoor Sports and talked with them. They told me they were getting inventory because they move hundreds of units per month. I got what I wanted in less than a week.
