Anyone have any recommendations on a good 5-10 mile hike out there? And where to park, etc.

Park at Borden's Creek trailhead and go into B Branch. Not sure of distance but it took wife and I all day. My daughter use this app for her excursions. Hiking

B-Branch is a good one. You can do a big loop if you peel back onto trail 226 and circle back up to Borden creek trailhead.

Lots of good maps online that show mileage.

I hiked to Sougahoagdee Falls last week with another dad and our four kids. About a five mile round trip hike with only one difficult 20 yard section. You can park at the trail head which is by the road. Great scenery and the falls are pretty darn cool.

That “easy” hike was 14 miles. Don’t believe the distances from this article.

That’s a full day of hiking. And not an easy day!

This hike is 1.45 hours in to the canyon rim at a moderate pace. Timed it a couple of weeks ago. It is easy, just a walk through the woods on a horse trail. The only challenging parts are when you reach the canyon rim and descend. There are 2 drops of about 10ft where you have to watch your step. Borden creek trail is a good hike along with Thompson Creek to Ship Rock. To me the most scenic trails are along the creeks, the scenery changes and you get the rock formations/shelters and Hemlocks. Although I said easy, still pack the essetials.
