anybody catching any on the coosa..... below neely henry or wiess dams???

heard with the warm weather early in the mornin top-water is killin em

not at those dams but we been catching them below mitchell. this rain is prolly going to kink that up for a week or so tho because its hard to fish if they have three or more tubines running and im sure they will after this just to release more water

they have the flood gates open this morning.

flood gates open at mitchell?? daaang, its been 2 years or better since they had to open them i think. its a wonder they werent rusted shut...I hate that it screws up my stripe fishing but all in all the fishing below mitchell and on the alabama river is far better we we do get the heavy spring rains..for me at least....i know the last couple of years have sucked during the drought for the ways i fish

No gates open yet on Mitchell as of 1:30 pm 3/26, I am pretty sure since I am on shift and ain't called for any yet... I figure by morning we will be in gates. We do have gates open at Henry due to problems with a unit though.

sorry, guess i jumped the gun on that one. the clanton advertiser had the heading on the front of their website page "Gates Open on Dams" with a picture. must have been an old picture.

what about now book?? yall opening them at mitchell yet??
