Is there a way to see who voted for that bs?
I guess from here on out, I’ll join the others, and just hunt and manage my places when and how I want. I do a much better job than the state, and it’s been a long long time since they have made any changes to benefit wildlife. x2.....I'd like to know if anyone held out. Also, they are making all decisions from data collected from WMA's....ridiculous

So how do y’all go about impeaching or removing the entire CAB board?

Yep, big time. The first couple of weeks are usually some of my favorite hunting. I'd like to kick Chuck Sykes right in the nuts. If a candidate for governor would run on the platform of replacing Sykes, they would secure my vote

I’m confused, 1 bird the first 10 days passed or no? It was in the dcnr proposal that was presented to the board, but it looks like it was left out of the version that was approved.

With all the talk leading up to the CAB meeting, I would have figured it would be full of Aldeer folks voicing their opinions in person.

So how do y’all go about impeaching or removing the entire CAB board? The only way any change will happen is for a new governor to make it a priority. If you will run, I will not only vote for you, I will put up road signs. I'd run myself, but I got too many skeletons in the closet and would get cancelled. No real change can happen unless Sykes is replaced, and I don't see any movement to make that happen. We need some sort of organization to push that. The AFOA is the only group in the state I know of that has ever shown any interest in standing up to him. I am gonna talk to the guy that runs it.

With all the talk leading up to the CAB meeting, I would have figured it would be full of Aldeer folks voicing their opinions in person. I thought seriously of going, but I got information Thursday that it was already decided. And what I was told is exactly what they approved, so it would have been a waste of time. And I looked at their rules for speakers and saw that the chairman could decide on who to call, and felt pretty sure he wouldn't call on me. Glad I didn't go.

I dont care about the limit on birds, the mill I work at starts a shutdown the middle of April every year so I only get about 3 good weekends in during the season,I’m loosing 10 days now with these new changes, leave the seasons alone, lowering the limit or moving days isn’t gonna keep the outlaws from killing turkeys, they gonna hunt when they want and kill what they want, these changes hurt the honest Hunter not the outlaw

As I understand it, this may be still on the table Haven’t we had a turkey study committee for years???? What a joke. The reduced limit will do nothing.
I do support the ban on decoys but I know not everybody agrees on that
We have had a "turkey committee" composed of 5 WFF biologists who answer directly to Chuck, one AWF biologist and a NWTF biologist. As I understand it, they aren't consulted on much. No decoys - interesting - we back to the old days - I good w it
Statistically my best seasons were decoy free - my biggest issues are around having turkeys or not - I will like traveling lighter Only for the first 10 days With all the talk leading up to the CAB meeting, I would have figured it would be full of Aldeer folks voicing their opinions in person. I was surprised at how few folks were there. So what exactly was approved?
3/25 start 4 bird limit
Is that it? From Facebook ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/hvjAwTq.jpg) One final observation. The proposal pitched at the last meeting (3 bird limit, season Ap 1 - Ap 30) was tabled and never voted on. It is still viable!
