I have all Milwaukee Fuel. I have the vacuum, grinder, 1/4 impact, 3/8 impact, 1/2 impact, 3/4 impact, 1 inch impact, the sump pump, band saw, 1/2 drill, flash light. I do not want to even talk about price. But I will say batteries are what makes or breaks the tool for me. But at the the shop the get soaked in oil, grease, diesel fuel, and hydraulic oil and hold up well. I purchased them with the idea of being more efficient with time management. Don’t really have to have an air compressor every time I work on something, no air hoses or rolling them back up .

I originally had 18v stuff and then started adding 20v tools and bought the adapters to use the 20v batteries in the 18v tools. There is a big difference in the batteries that come with the tool and the 6ah or larger ones that you can buy. I’m gonna be on the lookout for a deal on a two pack. I can tell a difference in batteries especially with the impact working on farm equipment,

I can tell a difference in batteries especially with the impact working on farm equipment, I've had issues with my 20 Dewalt batteries, they won't charge completely, and they'll go completely dead after a week or so! I'm convinced it's the little battery indicator on the battery itself, that's draining them

I've tried killing my makita. Still going.
I'm sure they are all good. 2 decks, thousands of square feet of duck blinds, two rental home renovations, countless other tick-tacky projects, they just keep going.

When it comes to drills , I'd rather have Ryobi than Milwaukee. Every man in our die shop hated them, we drill for a living BTW, LOL.

Everyone seems to want to hate on Ryobi, but I have had great service out of them. We built this house last year and I never plugged in a circular saw. Ever cut made with either my big chop saw, or a Ryobi 18V cordless with good blades on them.
Still using the first 18V Ryobi drill I bought over 10 years ago, and I have never had to replace a battery.

I have Ryobi cordless 18V tools at home , no complains , I use them a lot. I wouldn't trade my Ryobi drill for a new Milwaukee Fuel .

I also use Ryobi tools. The variety that Ryobi has on the 18v platform is unbelievable. And for a standard homeowner, they more than do the job. The main reason I got into them is that they will never change the battery platform and value. Knowing that I will always be able to go and buy a battery to run the tools I have is a big deal to me.

I bought Porter Cable about 10 years ago. Still going strong. I have a ton of Porter cable stuff that have had for years with no issues, but I'm just a home user. I bought a bunch of the Kobalt brushless stuff also and it has been very solid as well. Yep... Porter Cable is the unsung hero of cordless tools. See my post earlier in this thread.

I use Milwaukee 12v and Ryobi 18v.
