Anybody know how the water is looking around Scottsboro? I know they’re pulling water pretty hard, just wondering how high and muddy it is near the ramps?

10-4. Thanks for the reply. Might be tough fishing after a cold front and high muddy water.

It’s a mud hole here at Triana. A lot of current.

7 gates open this morning and of course the turbines are wide open. Nope, I didn't even think about going down there. My son and his wife rode by just to have a look while they were in the area.

Well the water was very high and very muddy in places. When I was loading up I had to climb from the boat to the truck bed and step on the truck tire to get down just to stay out of the water. Still managed a few for supper this week. I was the only one at the ramp when I arrived a little after first light.. Don't think that's ever happened before.

Ditto should reopen today. Before the rains closed the boat ramps, I had scouted out several crappie spots. But that was three weeks ago. Sunday, I'm going to see if they are there.

Good luck. I went back yesterday morning. The water has gone down a lot but the dock shooting didn’t produce much.
