Isn't it Gay Pride week down there this weekend? It is on pensacola Beach. Probably want to stay away from there. Mostly stay away at night. The banana hammocks usually stay way down past Portofino during the day, think they hit the actual bar/restaurant area in the evenings. We went out on the boat one Saturday during Memorial Day weekend and went to Paradise Bar and Grill to eat, the place was as dead as I've ever seen it on a Saturday during the summer. We asked the waitress about it and she said they hated it b/c the banana hammocks didn't really come patronize the businesses in the area and the locals all stayed the hell away!

Orange beach is the last place I go on a major holiday and I got a place to stay, good luck getting to any place to eat, patience will be your friend this weekend. We have a condo down there and I’m bringing the boat. I’m going over later tomorrow night with groceries and won’t get back on the roads until I leave on Tuesday. If we go anywhere, it will be by boat.
