Holcomb has been doing gun works for a long time and I know he has done some fine work especially on rifles. Keep us updated on the progress. I purchased one of these to make a turkey gun but that's as far as I have gone. I'd like to have the barrel cut down and threaded for a choke and have a mount for a red dot put on it but I am not sure if Holcomb can do that or not. If you're gunsmith can't do it definitely send it to William at Sumtoy. I had him build one for my kids to shoot 6 years or so ago. He cut the barrel down from 28" to 24", threaded the barrel and built a choke, drilled, tapped it and mounted a FF3 on one of his low profile bases. What started out as purely a youth gun has become a gun I enjoy carrying regularly and has killed a bunch of turkeys.

Mully that’s exactly what I’m going for- drilling and tapping mount optic barrel/ choke FL they are awesome little guns, i own several clones of this hatfield etc. I am building this for men women children disabled anyone because I founded a non profit here in the state and while 20 gauge is awesome i can absolutely see how that shell and weight could be intimidating to someone smaller or someone in a wheelchair, (WillChair) like myself. Safe safe safe Youngbuck, not to high jack the thread but please tell us about your non-profit. Others may want to help if possible

4Him Check out www.DisabledOutdoorsmen.com Were the Alabama chapter of Disabled Outdoorsmen USA, events and fundraisers are coming and we are official- just nailing down loose ends. I was in love with this group from the bat and the Texas chapter has helped us tremendously. Our goal is getting people who have had the outdoors stripped away from them back outside in the sun and in front of God. A few of us have been lucky enough to find our ways back outdoors. I find God out here myself and the path that I take will fit many, many different chairs.

I’ve got one I bought for my daughter and she’s killed a couple with it. I tote it sometimes myself, especially if I’m not the primary shooter but feel the need to have two guns. Like you, I left the pretty walnut stock alone. I sent mine to Sumtoy and he cut 4” off the barrel, threaded and provided a choke, mounted one of his flush mounts for a Vortex venom, and he did some trigger work on it as well. It’s one of the better pattering .410s out there from what I’ve seen and for what they cost and at a weight of 3 1/2 lbs, they’re hard to beat.
