Just wanted to know what kind of deer movement anyone has seen or if they were having any luck. It has been slow for us and not alot of movement. We have gotten some good pics but everything has beed after dark. We do have a ton of scrapes but just no body has seen much in daylight hours.

Wow...am I glad to hear we are not the only ones in Escambia County not seeing any deer. Three of us lease approximately 350 acres near Barnett Crossroads and to say the least......it has been extremely tough this year. Our lease is 6 year old clearcuts and 6 year old pine plantations. First time hunting land like this and its been very hard to hunt. Exactly the same things to report...tons of deer sign, tons of deer pics..(after dark)....no deer seen during the day. We dont even see any does. We are at a total loss with this and are scratching our heads big time. What say you, Greimer? Where are you hunting?

We are right down the road in Wallace and we just are hopeing the last couple of werks in Jan they start moving. The only good thing we are seeing is that the times at night are getting closer to daylight hours.
