Does anyone have experience with an outfitter for archery Elk in Wyoming? I have a few preference points and looking at options for a hunt next fall. If my odds will be better with more points then I will wait. Seems like there are a lot of units that require various number of points to draw. I'm looking for a place with a quality hunt. Not concerned about a fancy lodge. Just a quality experience and good chance at my first bull.

I drew the general tag this yr with 4 points. From what I have heard , next yr going forward it will be a 4 point draw. I think the. guys with 3 points that drew seems to be split. This will be my first time hunting elk in Wyo.

There are tons of zones all over Wyoming. Where does the "general" tag allow you to hunt. Some of the hunts I was looking at were requiring 10 or more points to draw.

Go to rhe wyo dnr website and use the hunt planner. Or if you are serious about hunting out west every yr there are multiple platforms gohunt,huntn fool, eastmans, top rut....they are worth the money if you nerd out on preparation.
