Yeah. I will post later today or tomorrow. I haven’t shot anything. Having camping issues, same as last year.
It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

I got a abandonment citation for being gone more than 24 hours from camp which is a dam lie. $250 Fine + $30 service fee. I stayed over my 21 day limit, but didn’t receive nothing but a warning for that. I have been at camp every day for 2 hours to 14 hours. So I’m going to court when they mail me my court date which is no telling when. Same guy as last year harassing us. The Biologist and Ranger have no problems with us enjoying friends and hunting, but the Federal Law Enforcement Officer doesn’t like our red neck asses. So I guess I will pile the tickets up and figure it out after hunting season. Not going to let it rain on my parade. I will just move every 21 days to another undeveloped camp ground which is called a Hunters Camp. The abandonment for 24 hours is horse shucks. I got to go it’s time for the deer to move in this drizzling rain.
It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

Easy to catch em just let the hardworking, tax paying hunter slip up and pay I guess

I looked up the rules for Black Warrior Wildlife Management Area-Bankhead National Forest and this is printed on the back of the permit you sign to hunt.
Rule # 6. It shall be unlawful to camp in the WMA except in designated sites.Individuals or groups may camp on the WMA for a period not to exceed nine (9) days in any 30-day period.
Campfires must be extinguished before departed.No warming fires shall be permitted away from the camping area.

That is state WMA rules not National Forest camping rules. The camp ground is owned by the Federal Government. State WMA for Black Warrior biologist says it’s ok to stay, but he can’t control the Federal officers. All other WMA’s in Alabama that is not associated with Federal land you can stay as long as you want during season. However this is associated with government. So in other words rules on your paper permit you sign on camping are not enforced by the State. Which is a good thing.
