Mr AC I vote for Danner also. I'm usually pretty hard on boots and most don't last a year. I've had my first pair of Danner's for 6 years with no problems, still waterproof, comfortable and warm. Can't go wrong with them.

Check out Crispi. I have a pair and they are great quality and they have a good selection to get what you want. They are very comfortable and needed no break in.

I'm not sure what kind of boot you are looking for, but I went out on a limb about a year or so ago and bought a pair of Lems "Boulder" boots and I am going to tell you unequivocally that these are the most comfortable boots you will ever own. I'm serious when I tell you they are like wearing Indian moccasins. I use them for working around the cabin, hiking in the woods, kicking around, etc...

Ariat 6” turbo’s are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. Carbon toe is very light and offers the best performance.

Look at the Alico boots. I think backcountry is the model I have. They look similar to some Crispi boots I’ve seen. Best boots I’ve ever had. And I got over 3 years on them. A good boot for my repaired ankle that needs good support.

Last time I went looking for a change in boots I tried several. The pull on wellington I liked the best was by Irish Setter. The lace up was Danner.

Solomon Quest 4 is what I'm wearing now. Unconditional two-year warranty and super lightweight. They're the best boots I've ever owned.

I'm hiking and biking almost year 'round and I will never buy another pair of Danners. I've owned multiple pair and waterproofing hasn't been what I like BUT, they weren't all leather. The soles are too slick IMO in wet conditions.
It's really an individuals price point I think. My son likes his Under Armour, I hate the pair I had. This year I got Crispi Nevada's. I hated the price but, bad boots in the type of hunting I do equals bad hunting. I jumped in every
spot of water I could find and the only time my feet got wet was when a pair of First Lite gaiters leaked in almost knee deep water crossing a creek. If I get 3 years out of them I'll be happy. I had a pair of all leather Rocky's I
loved in Kodiak and in Alabama but cannot find a pair similar or I'd buy a pair today.
