Nope. Not sure smokeless would work. Blackpowder maybe. Much better ways to stop bleeding. Arterial bleed and was by myself and couldn't any other way. I'd get my knife red hot and stick it to it. I'm rarely with out quick clot these days.

There are several different products. I think I have bought at least 1 each of every one out there. Quick clot was developed for the military to quickly stop bleeding. Any body can buy it. I keep some in my hunting pack and my shooting bag. I have FAK's stashed at work and home. I don't leave that stuff in the truck in summer because of the heat. I keep an EDC kit close but I do forget to slip it in a pocket at times. But you never know when you might need it. I've used it on me twice. On others maybe 10 times.

No and I wouldn’t try to cut an x and suck the venom out from a snake bite either. I’d probably just get swallowed up by quick sand. I’m old enough that they taught the sucking out the venom in Cub Scouts. We all just told each other not to get snakebit and count on us for help. Back then I usually had a busted lip from playground tackle football so I was ineligible to be the bloodsucker anyways. I would probably be wise to get some quick clot and put in my backpack.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Reminds of an old joke when I was a kid: Lone Ranger and Tonto out in the wilderness. Lone Ranger gets bitten by rattlesnake on privates while peeing. Tonto rides back to town to get help. Doctor tells Tonto to cut an X on bite and suck poison out. Tonto goes back to Lone Ranger and when Lone Ranger asks what doctor said, Tonto tells him "Doctor says you gonna die"

You mean, add 3rd degree burn, with its separate potential for introducing infection, to your list of wounds? Um, no.
Used to be a lifeguard, until that blue kid got me fired.

With all the blood thinners I'm on and as hard ony body as I am, I keep a vial of quick clot on me at all times. Use it at least every other week or so. I'm not going the burn route.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.
