I’ve posted before that we spend all our free time wrestling instead of hunting. One of my Middle School 8th grade twins have been pulled up to the High School Varsity team. He was in a two day High School tournament, yesterday and today, and finished 3rd place out of 12 teams represented. That’s huge when you consider he’s an 8th grade kid, that’s barely hitting puberty, and going against Juniors and Seniors in High School…and winning. Had to brag. Okay, I won’t post about wrestling anymore…until Southern Conference and State Tournaments are here. grin

Cool stuff. Sounds like future free college

The tournament was in Chelsea. I actually have three boys that wrestle. Twin 8th graders. One is the High School starting 106. The other is the back up 113. He’s good enough to take the spot, skill wise, just out muscled right now. Then my 11th grader is the starting 160. He’s out with an injury right now but should be back this week.

Awesome! One of my boys wrestled varsity as a 7th/8th grader. Helluva'n education for a young kid! But stays with them for life!

That’s awesome bud, and I’m always glad to see kids excel at sports other than the big three sports in high school. I would’ve wrestled in high school but the only rasslin’ we had around here back then was Bullett Bob Armstrong, the Tennessee Stud and Southeastern Championship Wrestling 😂. Keep pushing him!
