After a few years of being exposed numerous occasions to covid, covid finally got me. Wife popped positive a couple of days ago and now I’ve got no sense of smell or taste, aches, and fever that comes and goes in waves. I was looking for any recommendations on how to beat this thing, I’m really concerned about my kids more than anything, I’m pretty sure they are coming down with it too.

Drink some moonshine as soon as you wake up and cough as much of the trash up as possible.

The doctors won’t give you anything to alleviate the symptoms other than maybe a steroid.

Drink plenty of fluids too. I’m on day 9 of it and I’m getting a small amount of energy back.

About to head to the doc myself... wife tested positive yesterday and I started getting symptoms last night. Both girls are also showing symptoms.

I tested positive Sunday. Wife tested negative Sunday, but positive today. Since she was negative she’s been dealing with my daughter the past couple days so I’m sure shes exposed. I Started feeling bad Thursday. Hasn’t been worse than a normal head cold for me. Heck I mowed the lawn with a push mower the morning I tested positive. Other than quarantining I’ve been doing everything normal. Get to go back to work Friday

Plenty of water/liquids
Tylenol/Advil for headaches
Plenty of rest/sleep

That covers most people. Keep an eye on it, and if symptoms get worse, obviously Go see about it. But for the majority of folks, it’s treated like a cold and only lasts a brief while.

*Note….not a doctor, so take this with a grain of salt.

I’d love to get out in the yard do some things but this fever has got me laid up pretty good, 101.4 a little while ago when I checked it. Wife is feeling so bad she went to the patient center they have set up for hospital employees, not sure what goodies she will be getting. She has a real bad dry cough and the fever won’t leave her either. And then there is three little knuckleheads I’m having to deal with… age 7, 2, 1. Y’all send a prayer up for my household please.

Keep moving, fluids, treat it like a cold and act like nothing has changed. Oh and since nobody has said it. Take ivermectin.
It’ll be over with in a few days. You treat the symptoms.

Why does everyone ask how to treat the Rona? How would you normally treat a bad cold or the flu? It’s not some mystical beast.

Are you under 40 and otherwise healthy? Even under 50? Just keep moving.

I tested positive this morning. Ran fever last night and have lingering headache along with body aches. Tylenol seems to help.

This all should take care of herd immunity and finally put the nail in dr deaths coffin and end the narrative. I believe most have seen how well them shots perform to end that as well. Hate folks have it but most will be fine.
