Have any of y’all sent teeth off for cementum annuli (CA) aging? If so what company did you use?

The reason I’m asking is because I recently killed a deer that I’ve been hunting for a few years and appeared to be mature the first picture I ever got of him. His antlers have went down hill the last two years and I’m curious as to what age he is and when he started to decline.

Thanks for any info

Have used both Matson’s Lab and Deerage.com
Both are great.

It would be interesting to send off to multiple places to see if they all come up with same results

Or send multiple samples to the same place and see what happens

CA is not as accurate for southern deer. I think I'd trust Matt's and/or Troy's judgment just as much as CA. All are still guesses.
