Me and 2 buddies were rolling another friends yard one night and a rogue animal control officer (we called them "Dog Catchers") pulled over and commenced to informing us we "were going to clean up this mess and he was taking us to our parents." We all took off running and he decided to chase us. Me and one of my friends were much faster than our chubby buddy so we found a dark hiding spot and waited. Our large friend cam huffing by and the DC was close behind. He led him all the way to a lake about 1,000 yds away which we had many trails and hiding spots all around.

After they passed we went back out to the yard and saw the DC had left his truck running. We were too scared to move it or anything, so we pulled the keys and threw them under the seat and ran home.

All these stories are making me realize my kids aint so bad or I was horrible!

He never caught my other friend and we never heard anything else about it. I've always wondered how long it took him to find his keys!

Ha, that reminds me of us getting on the popo's bad side one halloween. Involved 4 rotten eggs, 1/2 bottle of dishwashing detergent, 1/2 pint of paint, amonia, some dog poo and caster or cod liver oil...and some balloons. I'm short on time...story for another day. grin

Too many to tell. Best two
I have two little sisters. One Christmas I awoke before them and hid all their gifts and presents. Replaced them with switches ties in ribbons. Boy talk about two girls squalling ! I almost died over that one.
I always loved fishing ,but never could catch any bass on a plastic worm. Well myself and three friends went to Municipal park fish hatchery. We fished several hours,it was a bass every cast(handlines) It was awesome till the hatchery man chased and almost caught us !

For fear of criminal charges and personal revenge, I will not post the good ones.

A good one that I can tell. Ever seen 15 girls fighting for a garbage can to throw up in? Well, it was 15 exactly and cat fights broke out.

One of my better friends in HS went to PCB the summer of our freshman year. He acquired some of those stink bomb "pills" while down there. Imagine the worst skunk smell on the road, magnify by 10 and you get the picture.

After testing one in the driveway one evening, it was decided we would set one off in school. What idiots, I mean, really dumb move. After lunch (decided this was the best time), we entered class. Our lunch teacher was an old fart with a hump back but as cool as an Alaskan summer day. All the boys got there first, as you know how girls must go fart in the bathroom after eating. I swear that is what they did. Anyway, we all stand at the front of the room and ol Jeremy pulls out the bomb or pill or whatever that nasty thing was. As we hear the exactly 15 girls laughing the hall and the teacher telling them to hurry up ol Jeremy proceeds to drop the pill and step on it. His foot acting like some sort of mechanism like an A Bomb would have.

We all run and sit down. I swear I don't know how that thing didn't have smoke coming out of it. IT was awful. The girls file in one by one and take their seat. They all have this look on their face and we begin to snicker. Only about 5 boys total in class.

After about OOOOOOOOOO, 2 minutes one girl hurls then another and like a herd of antelope with a pack of wolves behind them they all (I mean all 15) run out the door. Well, outside our door is one of those 50gal garbage cans. Big enough for 5 or 6 girls to huddle around but not 15. At this point we are crying with heads in our shirts to help subdue the smell.

Next thing we hear is fighting, pawing, screaming, gashing, you know, all the sounds of a girl fight. Apparently they fought over the can.

That was pretty bad and funny as hell at the time. We finally had to leave the room. I was sick for an hour but never lost my lunch. Then again, back then we could drink ourselves foolish and not loose our supper.

Teachers all figured a skunk had sprayed outside. I can smell that stuff now almost 20 years later.

Maybe one day I'll write about the condoms we got caught with in the 6th grade. That was funny.

One of my cousins threw one of those all metal, car spoke hubcaps into the substation back in the late 70's. Knocked power out all over town.

We went out hunting with our bb guns one day and racked up and killed 3 robins. Well we was hungry so I snuck some matches out and made a fire and attempted to cook them. Didn't work too well. Put the fire out (so we thought). An hour later we see the world on fire. Burnt about 60 acres down.

Also with bb gun my I was about 7-8. My dad sat this car out by the road and let it set there for several months. Well I thought it was trashed so I proceed to shoot out the headlights mirrors windows. Never payed attention to the for sale sign in the window.

I have enough stories to write a book but not the grammar skills. Here is my favorite one.Three of us would get together at night where Alabama ave.meets queenstown road in trussville.Right below there used to be a set of railroad tracks.Well my grandfather had a bullhorn my buddy had one of those headlamps that you use for coonhunting and my other buddy would get his dads aluminum step ladder. One of us would get about 20 yrds off the side of the road and center the ladder on the tracks then climb it with the headlamp on our head.As a car would aproach we would simultaneously blow the bullhorn and flip on the elevated headlight. We got everything from screetching tires trying to stop their car to people trying to outrun the train. Many times people would figure out what just happened and come back and just yell obscenities at the surrounding woods because by then we would be hiding in the bushes. One thing is for sure .I imagine a many a folks had to go home and change their pants.

Have you seen the aerial flips, somersaults and other stunts they do on motocross bikes these days?
Well I pioneered many of those stunts, only not on purpose.

When I was old enough for a pocket knife I clipped the tit off my old mans Dristan bottle and filled it with water. He sat on the side of his bed that night (his usual routine) and stuck the bottle in his nose and squirted the hell out of it (like you do Dristan bottles) and the whole bottle of water went up his nose. He almost choaked to death - I swear water came out of his ears. From then on he checked the nozzle before he squirted it up his nose and cut his old bottles up in pieces.

This is one of the dumbest things I did. I started dipping when I was 13. That was stupid, and I still do, but here's the story. I had about 1/3 a can of Copenhagen left that had dried up. Crunchy dry. What do you do with dried up snuff?.........

Some buddies came over and we went camping down at the spring behind the barn. I took some empty feed sacks to help start our campfire. We got a fire going and I had a sack left. Here's what you do, or don't do with dried up Copenhagen. Guess I had seen one too many Westerns or one too many Marlboro man commercials. I tore one laminate off a feed sack about 4 inches square, filled it full of dried up Copenhagen and rolled her up. I told my buddies we'd all get a puff off it. I lit it and took a big drag. Okay, feed sacks burn a whole lot faster than rolling paper and loose dry Copenhagen burns a lot faster than cigarette tobacco. One drag and the whole thing was gone. I fell over backwards off the log I was sitting on. The whole world spun for about 30 minutes. I think I almost died.

Some of you smokers, give that a try. I bet you won't need but one Copenhagen cigarette a day....

Most costly (age 9 or 10) - Caught my aunt's house on fire with a can of hairspray and a lighter trying to kill some paper wasps. Thankfully, a waterhose was all required to put out the flame; however, she did need new siding, facia, and roofing over part of her house. On a positive note - I did kill the wasp nest.

Dumbest (age 16) - Several of us on the football team picked up our coaches VW Bug and carried it up the steps of the gym and placed it between a couple of pillars after practive and waited around the corner for the coach to come out of the office for a good laugh. He came out - didn't see the humor in our efforts and had us go put our pads back on for 2+ hours of belly flops and crab crawls - while parents, girlfriends, and others who were waiting for us looked on. We then carried his bug back to it's designated parking spot.

Same year, same coach - we were waiting for the coaches in the bus to travel to an away game. I decided it would be funny to drive the bus around the corner and hide from the coaches. Again - he didn't see the humor and the following Monday - more belly flops and crab crawls for me.

We used to do number 2 in a purse and put it in the middle of the road. People would stop to pick it up and at least smell it. Some stuck their hand in there.

We would tie a piece of nylon string across the street about headlight high. To watch people drive up to that and then break it was hilarious.

We ordered pizza from Pasquales for a neighbor across the street.

We cherry bombed a passed out drunk in the back of a 53 chevy with the door handle torn off. That old fashioned cherry bomb that was much more powerful than today, would fit perfectly into that door handle hole. We did that at least ten times.

Worst story my dad could have told a 10yr old. Well he was telling a buddy of his but I heard it too. Him and another guy would drive around to dumpsters and pop cats in the head with BB guns at night. I thought that sounded fun but we didnt have dumpsters near where I lived so I would shoot all the neighbors pets. None of the neighbor’s dogs would crap in our yard.

I've done a few dumb things in my day. I was the dummy who would do anything to get a laugh.

In highschool baseball, our pitcher and catcher collided in a game trying to dive for a popped up bunt. The pitcher broke his jaw and was out cold for at least 15 minutes. He was snoring something serious. Folks were really worried about him.

Two days later, we were hitting off of the pitching machine. I was the first guy up and the coach was getting the machine ranged in. A high fast one came in at me and I spun in on it, took it off the helmet and collapsed on the ground and started a snoring. They busted tail over to get me, worried that they had nearly killed another one. I jumped up laughing. They weren't.

Been here long enough to go from "bring 'da pain" to " bring 'da pain meds.

I had a young lady take a liking to my charms when I was in high school. She was the principal's daughter and was wild as a buck deer during the rut. We snuck his keys to the school one night (this was before the cameras we have installed now in the schools) and we went to her dad's office and ..... well, like Paul Harvey used to say "Now you know the rest of the story". My son reads this forum so I have got to stop here! Every time I had to stop by the office after that, I thought about what we did on his couch.

I can't stand a thief.
