I got over 300k out of my 1989 BMW 318is with the 1.8 DOHC aluminum 4 cylinder. I sold it and within a year the new owner blew the head gasket. Original transmission.

It will probably be the last truck I buy, since I have a work car provided to me to drive all week. Just need a truck to pull my boat and haul my sxs to the hunting camp. My son is turning 16 in two months and will be getting my 2012 Chev 1500 Z71 with 160k for his first vehicle.. I barely put 7k on a vehicle a year if I’m lucky, probably close to 3-5k..
