The run and gun seems more compact. I try to keep the amount of calls I carry to a minimum. Having a cushion is one of the main reasons I wear a vest as well as quick access to calls

If I had one complaint, the pocket on the back could be a touch larger. I like to carry a turkey wing and it wouldn't fit back there.

dirkdaddy 10 point D Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 2,616 Alabama	Another option to look at is cabelas 1/2 turkey vest with speed seat, it's basically a lumbar pack with a seat on it. I looked long and hard at getting a new vest this year for run and gun and I went with it instead of the knight and hale or the similar nomad. I am pairing it with a camo hydration pack I got off of amazon. Both together cost about as much as a full turkey vest ($90). Add in my bino harness and I've got plenty of space for mouth calls, a couple of pots, and some strikers. Water is in the hydration pack and it's large enough to stow a couple of layers when it warms up.

Having a touch of extra room than the 200 is why I went with it. I have a water bladder in the back and keep some snacks in there.
