I’m planning on our first controlled burn this year. Can some of y’all post before and after pics if you got them? By after, I mean after the habitat bounced back the way you had hoped.

Okatuppa nice work! That is the perfect burn 4-wheeler too! I wish I could find an older Honda like that! I'm not sure of the brand of drip torch you have in the pic, but my best friend has one and everybody loves to string fire with it because of the handle and how it swivels. You must have been burning for a while as I'm not sure you can even get whatever brand torch that is in your pic. My friends torch like the one you have was his grandfather's old torch.

I had that stand really clean, but I haven’t been able to get a good burn like that for the past 3-4 years.
It’s in a creek bottom and the whole tract gets under water when the creek gets out and it washes all my fuel away. I was able to burn part of it last year and that section really cleaned up nicely with this recent burn.

The four wheeler and the drip torch are both classics. Both of them are from the 1980’s.

You can’t beat those old Honda Fourtrax.
I don’t care what anyone says, it’s the best four wheeler ever made!

That drip torch is a hand me down from the old Scott Paper Company days.
I actually have two of them.
I’ll try to remember to look at the brand one day this week when I’m at my tractor shed.
