Business is taking me to Birmingham several days each month and I anticipate as we grow that I will be spending more time there…..I know, I know. Nevertheless I am here and currently spend up to $1k/month in hotels and so I need some advice on what my other options are. Renting is certainly one, I have considered buying and Airbnbing when not using it. I am leaning hard towards just buying a camper and renting a spot somewhere. Anyhow I thought I would reach out to you guys and see what y’all in similar situations have done. TIA.

Look into loft apartments downtown or TJ tower(Roots&Reverly restaurant is amazing!) Or go to Vestavia/Hoover/Homewood where they also have crime. No matter where you pick carry everyday and spare ammo
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

There is a KOA campground in Pelham. Might rent a cabin in Oak Mountain. I checked into the cabins, looks like you have to rent quite a while in advance
