I guess a healthy 3yo. Some pics look 3 and some I could see 4. That would be my thought. Hoping Matt or Troy will chime in. Highly likely I could kill him with a recurve this weekend, but we’ve agreed to shoot 4 or older deer.

He's at least 4, possibly 5. Shoulders are as big or slightly bigger than his rear, brisket starting to show, generally thicker and more muscular than a 3 yr old would be, neck is already blending in well below his shoulders.
Not having any history on the deer or property, I'd say he's 4 for sure and leaning towards 5. He's gonna look like a beast once he sheds that velvet, gets a good dose of testosterone and really muscles up.

You think so? I thought at least four, and I would entertain an idea of five. I trust you though. You get in trouble trusting other folks. Lol. Not having any history with the deer and given the location I’m saying 4. I’ve learned that with deer, just like people, there are norms and outliers. Most deer develop and mature following the standard we all go by. Outliers don’t. In any given age class there will be deer that just don’t fit the norm. Given the totality of info on him I say 4. He could be older but I doubt any younger.

Is it the brisket starting to show? I always like to see yall's response and how close I am to it.
